The Eurasian Federation Flag

This is a flag I created for the Eurasian Federation. Its design is based on a flag of the “Eurasia Revolution”, but I decided to replace its original black and white colors with colors of the Russian flag to show Russia's dominance over the other member nations of the EF.

The EF was formed during the Reconstruction War, which began when conflict arose in the Middle East between the NAU and EU backed Saudi Arabia and the Russian backed Iran. Russia wanting to regain many of the region's former Soviet Republics used the conflict as an excuse to invade the region. Russia's first move was to invade Kazakhstan and pushed south until they reached the Afghanistan border, meeting only minor resistance along the way. The EU and NAU both condemned the invasion, however the EU was already occupied with the Scandinavian Secession Movement and the NAU was involved in Venezuela, and thus were unable to deploy troops to the region to stop the Russian Blitzkrieg. Next Russia invaded and conquered Afghanistan and Pakistan. Following this Russia absorbed the last remaining former Soviet Republics of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. After this was complete Russia absorbed Iran and began to move troops into Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula. Despite heavy resistance one by one the remaining Middle Eastern countries fell to Russian control.

After finally completing its conquest of the Middle East Russia began to set its sights on the European Union. Fearing the potential merger of the EU and NAU prompted Russia to invade eastern Europe and Turkey. Russian forces were able to push all the way to the German border before facing serious resistance. Despite their best efforts, the EU defenses crumbled and their forces either surrendered or fled to the UK. The rest of continental Europe (including Denmark which had been reacquired by the EU during the Scandinavian revolt) fell swiftly into Russia’s control. Russia then attempted to invade the British Isles but failed when NAU forces arrived. Russia then turned to the Pacific conquering Hokkaido and invading Alaska.

After the failed invasion the Atlantic Federation was formed, in response Russia formed the Eurasian Federation out of its conquered territory. The EF is led by a Federal Council comprised of delegates from the European States, though it is the Russian President who wields the true authority.The capital is Moscow. There is no official langauge. The currency remains the euro.
